• What kind of cleaning do you offer?

We offer a truck-mounted steam cleaning extraction system to clean your carpet and upholstery. Almost all of our equipment is located inside our truck. We run hoses from our truck into your house, along with a few tools, and use safe, environmentally-friendly, enzyme-based chemistry combined with steaming hot water to flush your carpets and upholstery of dirt, grime, dust, and spots, restoring luster and making indoor environments healthier to work and live in.


  • How much does it cost?

Prices vary depending on the size of the area cleaned, services performed, type of carpet or upholstery, quantity of contents, and level of soiling. We service the entire Denver Metro area, from Boulder to Brighton, Littleton to Parker.   • How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

Carpet manufacturers like Shaw and Mohawk recommend that your carpets be cleaned every six months to a year, depending on use. Some people can clean their carpets every other year and be fine, but if you have kids or pets especially, we recommend every six months to a year.


  • What are the health benefits to having your carpets cleaned?

Common factors which can affect indoor air quality include: people, pets, activities, technology, furnishings, finishes, building materials, outdoor air quality, and inadequate cleaning practices. These factors combine to contribute to health issues such as asthma, lung infections, bronchitis, allergies, or other respiratory issues. Having your carpets regularly cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner removes dust, dirt, allergens, pet dander, and other soils which things like bacteria or dust mites like to feed on. Summary of carpet soiling as stated in IICRC S100: The objective of professional cleaning is to remove as much soil from an occupied environment as practical without damaging surfaces or materials. Cleaning enhances the appearance of a textile floor covering while extending investment life. Moreover, it enhances the well-being, comfort, and productivity of residential and commercial building occupants.”


  • How often should I have my upholstery cleaned?

Generally speaking, upholstery doesn’t see the daily wear and tear that carpet does, thus generally upholstery doesn’t need cleaned quite as often. Again, frequency of cleaning is dependent upon use. If you have a sofa that the kids eat, drink, jump, and sleep on, we might suggest having it cleaned once a year or more. If you have a chair which sits in a room that sees infrequent use and is more like decoration than furniture, it might only need cleaned once every few years. If you’re questioning the piece, we can help you decide whether it needs cleaned or not.   • When should fabric protector be applied?

New carpet comes treated with fabric protector already, however, over time that protector wears off, leaving your carpet vulnerable to staining. We recommend applying fabric protector to your carpet after every 3 cleanings, or about every two years.

New upholstery, on the other hand, does not come with a fabric protector already applied. For this reason, we recommend applying fabric protector on every new piece of upholstery to give it a stain resistant protective coating. Once it is initially protected, most pieces of upholstery may not need protectant reapplied for many years.


  • Does your fabric protector alter my fabrics (carpet or upholstery) in any way?

Other than providing a protective barrier against stains, no. Once applied and left to dry, our fabric protector is not detectible by touch, smell, or sight. It will not change the color, luster, sheen, or other visual presentation of your fabric in any way. It will not leave a residue which is able to be felt. But when you put some water, or have a spill, on a protected fabric, you will be able to see the liquid bead on top of the fabric, giving you time to wipe it up before it can soak in. Protected fabrics are also much more likely than non-protected fabrics to release spots and stains during cleaning, making the cleaning process even more effective.


  • Are you certified?

Yes. We are certified by the IICRC (the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification) for cleaning carpet and upholstery, as well as for treating odors. We also maintain an A+ Rating with the BBB (The Better Business Bureau).


  • How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 1997. Yes, that’s 20 years!


  • Are you locally owned?

Not only are we locally owned, but we are a small, family owned and operated business. We are not a giant franchise operation with multiple locations.


  • Are your chemicals safe?

Yes. Almost all of our chemicals are either enzyme or citrus based, both of which are environmentally friendly, as well as being perfectly safe for children, pets, the elderly, or people with sensitivities to strong chemicals. For specific situations, we may use a very small quantity (less than a teaspoon) of solvents or bleaching agents. If you do not wish for us to use these slightly stronger chemicals, just let us know and we will avoid using them for you. Understand, however, that limiting our available chemistry may adversely affect the quality of the job we can perform. Some spots or stains simply will not come out without the proper chemistry.


  • My pet had some accidents on the carpet. Can you help me?

Of course we can. We love pets. But with pets come accidents. We can help. Our pet stain treatment can remove the odors and staining that occur when pets have accidents on the carpet.   • I heard having your carpets cleaned too often was bad for them, is this true?

In a word, no. The wives’ tale about cleaning your carpet causing it to soil faster and faster is simply untrue. If properly done, cleaning your carpet causes no damage whatsoever, and helps keep it from getting damaged by soil and particles residing in the carpet. Not only is carpet cleaning good for your health, it is good for your carpet!


  • Can my ____ be cleaned? (Area Rug, Family Heirloom Chair, Wool Carpet, Designer Sofa, etc.)

The short answer is “most likely”. Our techniques are gentle enough that there are very few fabrics which we have found we cannot clean. Wool, Cotton, Jute, Polyester, Olefin, Triexta, even Silk can all be wet cleaned with no problems if proper techniques are followed. Granted, the more delicate the fabric, the more delicate our techniques must be, which can affect the quality of cleaning. We simply cannot use our strongest chemicals on the most delicate fabrics. This does not mean, however, that fabrics, even very delicate ones, would not benefit from being cleaned. For the few fabrics which simply cannot be wet cleaned, we also offer dry cleaning systems.


  • Is my carpet ruined?

The short answer is “maybe, but unlikely”. Many people come to us with stains in their carpet, traffic patterns in walkways or entryways, pet stains, or some other problem of concern. They are nearly ready to purchase new carpet, but decide to have it cleaned instead. Once cleaned, their carpet looks so good, they realize it wasn’t ruined, simply dirty. Many times, “ruined” carpet still has many more years of life in it, once it is properly cleaned and restored. And we cost a fraction of the price of installing new carpet.


  • How long will a cleaning take?

Generally speaking, most cleanings take approximately two to three hours for our technicians to perform. They may take longer or shorter depending on size the area cleaned, level of soiling, services performed, or outside factors. Rest assured that we do not time our jobs to be done in a certain timeframe. If your job requires a little extra time, we will take it to ensure we can do the best cleaning possible.


  • How long will it take to dry?

The answer is “It Depends…” Factors which can effect dry time include weather, amount of water which was necessary to put down, quality of extraction, ventilation of the room, available airflow, and humidity. Generally carpet should take from 6-8 hours to dry, though sometimes it could take up to 24 hours or as little as 2 hours. We’ve had many instances where the room we started cleaning in is dry by the time we finish the last room. We always do our best to use as little amount of moisture as is necessary to clean your carpet, as well as to ensure that your carpet dries in a timely manner.

Upholstery takes much less time to dry, mostly because we use less moisture to clean upholstery. Most upholstery will be dry in 1-2 hours, though again, environmental factors could increase or decrease dry time.
